K&L Precision Painting was started in 2007 to serve the residential house painting needs of Lee’s Summit and Kansas City area customers. The owners Matt and Mike were both raised in Lee’s Summit, MO and are now raising their own families there. They are both heavily involved in their children’s lives as well as the community. As college roommates at Pittsburg State University, Mike earned a degree in construction management, while Matt earned degrees in business administration and economics. Both had painted before and during college, so starting a company that does house painting in Lee’s Summit was an easy decision. With their strong work ethic and friendship they knew that they would be successful. Since then the business has grown, but attention to detail is still given to each customer so they receive the service that they deserve.

We have added quality members to the team in recent years including Toby Turney. He came to K&L with years of painting and carpentry experience. Toby is a valuable member of our team and is always able to come up with a solution to any problem that may arise. In 2021 Toby joined the ownership group and is now a partner at K&L Precision Painting.
